Wilting Point Dinner Series

In celebration of her Wilting Point performance installation at the 2016 LA Art Show, British artist Millie Brown hosted an immersive dinner experience at ELYX House, Los Angeles. The event transformed the space into a verdant sanctuary, where guests dined atop beds of moss and fresh flowers, echoing the natural materials central to the performance.

Brown crafted a floral-inspired menu alongside bespoke botanical cocktails, designed and conceptualized by the artist herself and expertly brought to life by ELYX House’s mixologists. Each element of the dinner was carefully composed to awaken the senses and deepen the connection between the body and the living ecosystem surrounding it.

The Wilting Point Dinner extended the themes of Brown’s durational installation, inviting guests into a multisensory dialogue on transformation, decay, and renewal. The floral table-scape and immersive environment encouraged a meditative encounter with impermanence and the fragile beauty of life’s cycles, fostering a profound reflection on humanity’s place within the natural world.
