In 2015, Millie Brown delivered a captivating durational performance at MOCA Miami during Art Basel Miami Beach, curated by Stacy Engman. This moment was part of a unique collaboration with ArtCapsul and took place alongside Ellen von Unwerth’s Wilden series, which prominently features Brown as its muse. Von Unwerth’s Wilden is a striking photographic exploration of femininity, power, and sensuality, challenging traditional portrayals of women through bold, evocative imagery.

Brown’s live performance became a living embodiment of Wilden’s themes, blurring the lines between still photography and performative presence. Her visceral, body-focused art practice animated von Unwerth’s visual narrative, transforming the gallery space into an immersive encounter that invited viewers to experience autonomy, transformation, and female empowerment firsthand.
